Dreams. I love dreams. I love dreams so much. Except for when they involve Tyra...
Woody: I really like this, it's very beautiful. I love how it's quiet, serene, and peaceful. The setting and the lighting work perfectly for the theme and Miku looks innocently beautiful.
P!nk: I love the lighting of this, the colours. The butterfly. And Miku looks awesome!
Janice: This is lovely and serene. You know I think it works perfectly for the theme too. The colours compliment each other, almost to the point to where you disappear into the background, but you stand out just enough not to. It's beautiful.
Woody: I really like this concept, of Rose living in a rose. I can see how it relates to Dreamland, but my issue is with Rose the person. I don't feel like you're connecting, so you end up looking like you're bored.
P!nk: I actually have to just agree with Woody 100% Sorry.
Janice: I feel Rose has a lot more to offer in this field, I know she does a lot of weird stuff, and she *was* on Charmed. This, compared to what else we have this week, comes across a bit safe. I do love the expression, but we'll have to see how you do.
Woody: This is not very good. I don't like the lighting, since you can barely recognize Vlada. I can sort of see the Dreamland theme in here, but it's really tough to distinguish because of the lighting.
P!nk: I see what you're going for here. I like the setting and the lighting works for a dreamland kind of vibe. But it's also distracting. I'm kind of wondering what's going on with your right arm. Like, I can't seem to find it. Maybe you're holding your hands on your lap? I can't tell. lol Anyway, I like the mermaid feel to this as well.
Janice: Wait, where is she? I can't see a thing over the damn glare. How can I tell if it is even Vlada I'm critiquing. It could be Tomoyo for all I know. I can see the angle, I can see the modelling, I can see the fashion. I can't see you though.
Woody: The setting really shows that it's a nightmare, it's very dark and haunting. However, I don't like Ginta in this photo, she's just a corpse lying there and that's not modelling to me.
P!nk: I love the setting, outside the 'window'. I love the dark vibe. You look like you're sleeping obviously, and then the rest of the photo is so dark and gloomy that I definitely feel it.
Janice: The image is a bit big! Try to keep it under 800x800 pixels. Your styling in this is done in such a way that you look possessed. A trained eye can tell your eyes are actually closed, and that's eyeshadow on top. It's very dark and gloomy, and great if it were a portrait. But this is a modelling competition. What's the difference between this and a corpse. When others are going to be stepping up their games to win the whole thing, it feels you're just playing it safe.
Woody: I definitely see Dreamland in this, it really reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. One thing that bothers me is that it feels odd like a weird dream, and I'm not completely loving the pose, but I do like Tyra's styling and how she's a bit like a woodland creature.
P!nk: Oh I wish I could have been at this photo shoot to see how she did that!! The pose is awesome, well, I mean, the legs. She almost looks like she's squatting to do her business, but the legs and feet save her. I love the setting for surez! This is really good.
Janice: I gotta hand it to you Tyra, you know how to model. Too bad you're batshit insane. I love the styling. I love the setting. And most of all, I love the angles of your legs!
Woody: I really like this as a Dreamland photo. I think it's cute and innocent, like a child's dream. I love the pose and the setting, everything meshes very well together.
P!nk: I like this. Very cute. The falling flowers, the wings, the tiny creature rolling in your ribbon lol Very cute.
Janice: This works perfectly as a children's clothing advertisement. It would no doubt get the mothers in to spoil their pampered fat kids. The setting and the wings make the photo magical. I just wish we could see more of that beautiful face.
Woody: I can tell that you were going with a nightmare. However, I don't like it as a modeling photo, I'm not liking the screaming expression and the setting isn't that strong.
P!nk: I like the lightning and the body language. I'm not fond of the open mouth either but I get what you're going for with it. The pose is fierce. For nightmare it might almost be better if you looked more scared than angry, but I do like this.
Janice: Mako, I know you could do better than this, it just feels like you're trying too hard to impress and missing out on what's there in front of you. Your body is good, the hair is great, the action's great, but the other judges are right, it's missing your face. I also feel this isn't really grasping the concept of dreamland as well as it should.
Woody: I do like this as a nightmare photo and the use the chainsaw as a prop. I do find the writing at the bottom to be distracting, since I really want to figure out what it says, and I would have liked if the photo was just so like your own personal nightmare.
P!nk: I wish you could have found a way to crop out the words. I usually don't care about words on a photo, but for this theme, it kind of wrecks it. I like the setting and the props and all the dirt and blood. It gives off the vibe of nightmare certainly.
Janice: It wouldn't've killed you just to crop off the bottom, but okay. I can see your representation of a nightmare in this photo. I do know someone to which this is what he dreams off (He's a bit weird), so I can also see the elements of that here too. I like the sort of broken down pose there, but overall, it's really not impressing me.
Woody: I do like this! I can see the nightmare, but I also feel like it could be a dream. I love the use the environment, it really makes it feel magical and you look amazing in the photo too.
P!nk: Oh I like this. Carrie looks gorgeous, and edgy. She's so commercial looking so giving us this photo is brilliant on your part. I love the falling leaves and the blurring effects on everything but Carrie. I really love this. Good job!
Janice: You know, you're really showing us what you have here. The setting here is great, and it's very beautiful the way the innocence of the dress and flowers is juxtaposed against the darkness of the background and the adultness of your face. It does look a bit fake though, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of airbrushing...
