1. How did you find or hear of this game?
Because when trying to get as FAR away from Amanda Kimmel as humanly possible, I ended up here.
2. Who do you think is the biggest threat in this competition?
Unfortunately, none of these teams were idiotic enough to pick fucking horrible team members, so it's actually anybody's game...damn it. On the bright side though, a lot of the people who play these things really aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer, so I'm counting on them making stupid mistakes and submitting some awful shit.
3. Why did you choose the members of your team?
Story time! Originally, I wasn't even going to play in this game, but apparently my addiction is stronger than I thought. I really wanted to be "Team Voldemort" (a funny reference dealing with something in the T.V. show, "The Office"):
Because of the Harry Potter reference, I decided I'd give Emma Watson a try. However, I quickly realized that this theme didn't work very well because I couldn't find any models or fictional characters that fit...go figure.
Then, I was looking at Emma Watson and realized she looks like a little pixie or elf, which made me think of a new name, "Team Pixie". It was this that brought me to Andrej Pejic, since he definitely has the pix-ish qualities I was looking for. I also added Tinkerbell to the list, since she fit perfectly with the team name, but then I googled the bitch and realized she looks almost identical in almost every picture I could find of her. I'm sure if I dug hard enough, I could patch together a decent portfolio for her, but I am a lazy fucker, so I tossed that idea.
I went on the hunt again, and thought of Zelda, but once again, when I googled her, I saw that she basically always has the exact same look.
BUT, when I was looking through her pictures, Link kept popping up with all these interesting looks and poses, so I figured hell why not.
The only problem is now my team's name was "Team Pixie", and rather than have everyone and their fucking mother put in their two cents by saying "Hey, with that name you shoulda used Tinkerbell hyuck hyuck!" I decided to change it to "Team Fairyland". After everything is said and done, I am happy with the name, because it implies fantasy which works great for each of the team members, and I really like this group because they all have a fantastic look and I love how the lines are being blurred between male and female.
4. Do you have any concerns regarding your teams?
Now that you mention it...
Andrej makes me nervous because he has a ton of shots that might push the boundaries a little too far. I have no idea where the judges stand as far as this sort of thing, so I'll have to tread carefully when it comes to submitting topless photos, etc. He can also come across as a bit "drag queenish" (nothing to do with him, but stylists tend to put hideous wigs on him from time to time), but I think he has enough shots available to where I can stay away from that nonsense.
Emma's weakness is her inexperience. One thing I've noticed about young celebrities is they don't tend to take many risks in their photoshoots. They generally stick with poses they are comfortable with, and expressions that are safe. She still has a decent portfolio, but it may take some creativity on my part to show her real potential.
Link is the man, 'nuff said.
