Utada: While I'm not a fan of the art style (you almost look like a caricature of yourself), I definitely see the decade in this shot and I love how the color just really pops.
Janice: Definitely see the decade you represent here, however, like Utada, I agree that the art style is a bit too much. I like the colours, but at the same time, I don't like the pink being used as an outfit.
Morgan: I'm not digging this Elsa, this art style is making you look very aged and I'm a very immature man - I need a young lady to keep me entertained not an old lady. And although I appreciate the fashion connection it hasn't been executed well, it looks quite messy sorry Elsa and I don't need messy in a relationship.

Rarity: While I do wish the art were more, let's say, polished, I do love the fashion content you have here, darling. I certainly get a sense of Marie Antoinette and the flowing ribbons are a nice touch.
Emma: Love how you represent this decade. But you look to have gotten plastic surgery on your face and not in a good way.

Utada: While I can see the decade even without the description, your description definitely helps sell this shot even more. While I find the outfit garish, I won't hold it against you since it's appropriate this shoot. In addition to hitting the theme, I like the way your hair's styled and I appreciate that we're getting a pose that I feel is a mix between a 60s attitude and some attitude that we tend to like in models.
Morgan: If only we were to meet in the 1960s! You look banging here in a fashion outfit and color contrast which may typically be hard for models to pull off, but you've done it. You have hit the photoshoot description perfectly with an impressive description to secure the connection. That face of yours is just naturally stunning! I just wish you would have chosen a more netural looking wall to lean on, that background is overpowering and clashes with you.

Janice: I don't know if I buy 1960s. I think is this very hipster-2010s. I think its very much the current fashion trends - Bright colours, florals, and jump suits. Even the attitude. I think this is a great picture, but I don't see 60s, as much as I see 2010s.
HaraKiri: Okay, but where do you think the 2010s got those fashion trends? From the 1960s, where those trends developed. A more accurate depict 2010s fashion photo would be Victoria raiding a museum dumpster for historic fashion trends to pass off as her own.

Rarity: You are sassy, darling. Give Janice what for! I love the attitude Victoria is giving us, the outfit is atrocious in color, but I do love a good fitting pantsuit. Good job.
Emma: Ok....so first.....maybe the style is modern. The hair seems more now but that pattern.......ewwww and WTF. Definitely 60s and 70s shit. Yucky yuck. Job well done.
Ivy League
1940s
Utada: Once again, you've definitely sold the shot (not that it needed selling). Definitely get the 40s vibe from this. The black and white definitely adds to the theme connection. I like the posing in this shot more than your other and I think it's an overall memorable shot.
Morgan: The fashion in this shot is perfect, to the point where you are naturally selling it to a man of my age and tastes. Your whole presence and stature has a wonderful soft yet strong modelling appeal. However I do have one problem with this - look at your left spaghetti arm shadow. The shadow makes your arm look twice as long and lanky. Once it can be seen I cant unsee it, and your right hand seems to mould into a dark catchers mit. Be careful of your limb placement!

Janice: I agree, if you just posted this and said "1940s", I don't think there'd be any questions asked. I totally see a dick film here, but I also see a war wife. I think it's a really strong submission, I didn't even notice the shadow... Until Morgan pointed it out, now I can't unsee it.
Rarity: Honestly, darling, this outstanding. You nailed every aspect of this challenge and I am thrilled. Shadow be damned, I can see it's not part of your perfectly proportioned arm. Superb!
Emma: Well done. Beautifully done job this round

1950s
Utada: I got the James Dean vibe from this shot without even looking at your description. The quality of the shot is fantastic and you've hit the theme well. However, I do wish your posing was a bit stronger. It's still a modeling competition and for me, that is the sole field holding you back this round.
Morgan: Tall - check, dark - check, handsome - check. Oh am I meant to be critiquing you and your photo? Sorry I've got to get my mind back into this modelling critiquing gig. Although I think you and I have a lot in common in the strong sexy looks department I wish you chanelled that more into this photo. Its easy for guys like us to float through life looking naturally smoking in whatever fashion we are wearing but this is a modelling competition, we need to see some modelling progression and effort. All in all, the theme is definitely replicated in your photo though.

Janice: I did not even know this was a production still until you said so. Huge kudos to finding such a great one. I'm in agreeance with both Utada and Morgan. I wish the posing was stronger, however, the cheek bones are fantastic. I also wish the hair was a bit more in relation to the theme.
Rarity: Darling, I'm with Janice, I wouldn't have noticed it was a production still. I don't care. It's brilliant. If you were looking at the camera, comb through your hair, I'd have been even more impressed. As it is, I'm loving it. But I love black and white photos anyway, especially when they have an artistic edge and profile shots definitely help with that aspect.
Emma: I thought it was a photo shoot. This is great!! Totally James Dean. And sexy sexy sexy
Neon Demons
1980s
Utada: Ok, just want to start off by saying that I love the fashion. I tend to gravitate more towards rock looks and so this shot's fashion is right up my alley. While I'm not a fan of the posing, I do think it displays an attitude that is appropriate for the look. At first, I did think this was a bit 90s, but then I remembered Joan Jett and this definitely fits. I think the hair made it feel a bit more on the 90s spectrum for me, but overall, it's definitely there.
Morgan: I'm glad you got my message about meeting me in the outback in hot 1980s heavy metal gear and waiting for me in the back seat of your car. I was in and out of reception so I wasn't sure if you got my message. Babe that outfit you have pulled out of your mums closet (where is she by the way, I asked for you to bring her?) is smoking! This is definitely what I imagined in my mind last night when I was doing my hand exercises. But I didn't ask for you to take sedatives before hand, I like my ladies to be active and involved contrary to popular belief. Those heavy eye lids and washed out look isn't doing it for me, its time to wake up Abbey!

Janice: I get elements of 1980s grunge here, but that's solely in the jacket and car. The leggings are very much in vogue right now though. Perhaps its because fashion seems to be circular. However, I agree that the hair is not very 80s.
Utada: This is good, dear. I would have loved for your hair to be, let's say, bigger. That would have definitely brought the 80's feel front and center. I definitely see the rocker in you and the outfit is definitely 80's inspired. Nice work.
Emma: I'm an 80s girl who loves heavy metal. This is like 90s grunge. Yea there's a lot of metal aspects but I don't see 80s. Good news tho...90s is a past decade too....unless the requirements forbid that. I will have to go look before I rank. I lover the picture overall and I've consistantly loved your team
Tier 1
1980s
Utada: Not a huge fan of the art style. Your hair screams 80s, but the Zepplin shirt actually detracts from the shot. Led Zepplin was actually fairly inactive during the 80s; they're definitely more of a 70s group. I do like the interesting pose and the fact that you're giving us some good energy, though.
Morgan: Theres so much going on here! I can see the fashion connection with the leg warmers in particular, they resonate very strongly with me LETS PUT ON OUR LEG WARMERS AND EXERCISE WITH KATHY! Personal story.
Your body is modelling well but I don't get the random bouquet.. I'm not ready for marriage yet? Maybe a description to tell me your story would have helped me to understand more.

Janice: I terms of theme connection, i think you've hit the theme on the head. I don't mind the art style so much, because as a comic lover myself, this art style is very reminiscent of 80s comics. The hair and leg-warmers are on point, and I don't know if Utada's point about when Zeppelin was active, because people where Beatles shirts today, and they haven't been active in years. I think the area you're lacking is in the execution though. Just a few minor things, but otherwise, I like this.
Rarity: That big hair, darling. Yes! All the hair ever. I also love that you have the leg-warmers and the shirt that gives a rock edge to the photo. I suppose my only complaint is the lack of background. But it can't be helped. I think you did well.
Emma: Inactive or not Zeppelin was still a major band that everyone loved and listened to. This photo is spot on.
Who Needs Names?
1990s
Utada: Ok, I can get some grunge inspired vibes here, but I overall don't really like this shot. The quality is subpar, the posing is basic, and there's a definite lack of energy.
Morgan: Oh no I have a bad feeling for you, there are so many negatives going through my mind and the only positive I can muster is that you have a pretty face here. I see dirty feet, a blank lifeless expression, no modelling effort, slumped over modelling rolls (we all have them but we try not to sell them in professional competitions). Its just not good. If you survive this please some over for some of my specialty "Morgan is a Freeman" brownies and we will chat tips.

Janice: The quality looks great on mobile, but when I got to my laptop, the quality was pretty bad. If you popped it into google image search, you would have found a smaller, but more vibrant image. However. I have to echo, the theme connection is there, but there's nothing particularly special about the picture. I think this would have been the perfect opportunity to use Rem's maid outfit to sell us the Japanese fashion trend of Lolita fashion. A bit of research, you could place it also as 1990s, as Old School Lolita. I find it baffling how you can find great pictures of Naomi and Rem, but Shakira seems to lack. Perhaps find a gallery that you can use, if you survive this round.
Rarity: Quality, darling. And where is the life? Everything is so drab and dull outside of your red top, even your hair seems to be fizzling out. I just don't know darling. I don't feel like there's enough content for me to give this photo a round of applause.
Emma: I guess the good news is that I'm on my phone with no computer lol. Although I've seen some bad quality pictures get good good reviews from the others so this can't be as bad as theirs were. I like this and it fits perfectly.
