As soon as I saw the assignment I knew this was the submission. Men's magazines always put a premium on making ladies look naughty but innocent - catholic school girl outfits anyone? I thought this photo was both hilarious and sexy. I mean as a gay man this photo of Ryan makes me inappropriately drool. I also love the way it kind of pokes fun of the naughty/innocent dichotomy. I even love how Ryan's face is very coy. Overall it's sexy and funny - like me.

Women's magazine? No, that's not right. First and foremost, this is not something I'd find in a men's magazine. For me, if I saw this in a gay interest magazine, I'd think it'd be very awkward. If I saw this in a women's magazine, I'd think it was awkward. This picture reads more of a "Getting naked before jerking off for cash for an internet porn website" picture. Though a sense of humour is sexy. There's a place for it, and it's not in pictures.

TestosterOWNED has Men's Magazine, not Women's.

I guess I'm very confused as I had "Men's Magazine" which you yourself just posted was more of the raunchy/trashy side. My writeup also conveys why I chose this photo for a men's magazine. I would like some clarification on this because I thought I had done this correctly according to your descriptions.

This does remind me of the type of fantasy shoots you'd see from Playboy from time to time, so you have the Men's Magazine down. I do think the crassness of it could have been amped up a bit more, but it's still fitting. Also, I love me a half-naked Jason Stackhouse, so there's that. This is a shoot where it's going to be a bit difficult to still give us some fashion, but we are getting some from you here.

Gay fairy godmother? I think this fits more of a themed men's magazine edition, rather than a typical photo that you would see in the magazine. Your body is hot and that alone is what you would want to see in a men's magazine. However the attire you have on isn't executed to the best of its ability. I feel like you aren't committing to what you are wearing, and you look uncomfortable in your expression. This photo may not typically work for a men's magazine, however with more effort I think you could make it work.

DNA magazine or GT magazine style is what I was looking for in my male submissions for men's magazine. Not budget porno.

I would argue this is on par with Maxim. The example you showed of the fictional character was essentially fan-budget-porn. I'm dropping it. I appreciate the dialogue.
