This week, I set a simple yet difficult task. You had to submit two pictures on the classic sexy photoshoot. Except with a twist. One must be pin up, the other a playboyesque glamour. That is, one classy, the other trashy.
Brazilian Wizards:
Ginny: Pin Up
Adriana: Glamour
Ginny: Pin Up
Adriana: Glamour
Morgan: I'm judging first so I get to make the tacky joke of "50 points to Gryffindor for Ginny's sexy bottom!"
This is pretty much a perfect match to the conception of a pinup photo. Your nudity is revealing yet tasteful and you look desirable and confident. You as a model look fabulous with your styled hair, pose and defined facial features. The cute, innocent, playgirl vibe works really well here. My only comment for improvement would be to raise your head a bit or maneuver yourself in way so that your neck is showing.
Adrianna are you sure this isn't a photo that you took of yourself after your two birthday parties and sleeping in? I can see the connection to the trashy sexy vibe, exposing yourself as a real woman performing realistic tasks in a sexy manner. However there are a few elements of this photo which don't work for me. The bottom hem of your skirt looks like it has been detailed in Microsoft Paint - I don't get what's going on there. Your left leg is chopped off and your right leg which is crossed is blending in too much with the color of the desk so the definition around your legs is lacking. The arm closest the camera has its length swallowed by your garment. I think your lingerie looks great (other than the Microsoft Paint issue) and the styling if your hair is sexy but overall I think some improvements in the posing would make this photo a lot better.
Janice: Goodness me, Ginny. Is this even legal? You look so young, and it's not funny. It does work very well for a pin up, but I do feel uneasy looking at this. Is that a belly piercing? It works well though, and I adore the hair, so good job.
Adriana, I feel this is too classy to be a true glamour sexy picture. This is more women's magazine than men's magazine. I really wanted to see some playboy here. I will give you one thing: It works well as an underwear advertisement. On the plus side, you have some great modelling going on here.
C. Viper: Your pin-up shot is roughly what I imagined I'd see going into this shoot, so I feel you have the execution of the theme done well here. I love the expression on your face and how just a slight bit of your face is covered. A little bit of neck would have been nice, but it would have been hard to do that and keep a bit of the cheekiness of the shot at the same time.
Your glamour shot is nice, but I feel it could have been taken further. You were given the go-ahead to be trashy with this shot and it stops just short of what could have been. The pose and expression definitely fit well for the type of shot it is and I love your outfit. It's pretty close to being perfect, but just needed to be taken further.

Legally Blonde:
Tilda: Pin Up
Haruka: Glamour
Morgan: Morgan: Well hello mature age lady who is lounging on her couch waiting for a dark handsome prince, I have arrived! This is a photo which is well suited to be pinup. Your legs look seductively long and lean but the bottom half of your body is performing better than the upper half. Your neck is too stiff and in consequence is making you look uncomfortable as well as protruding your collar bone out too far so they appear to be lumps. You have a unique bone structure and facial characteristics which usually come across quite strong however your face looks a little too tense for my liking here.
Uranus! I have become to despise black dots, they hide all of Morgan's favourite parts! You have a great body and some volumptious assets your body fits the ideal of glamour but there seems to be a lack of the theme connection in your face and in the overall execution of the photo. You look awfully sad and uncomfortable here, where I would have liked to see confidence and power (perhaps you showing off your special Uranus skills whilst nude). Your body was contributing towards the glamour vibe, but the rest of the photo didn't bring that extra something special to reach the concept.
Janice: There's not much for you to choose from with Tilda, but we both knew what you would choose. It's a very good pin up. I'm not really loving the face. If I cover it up, it's perfect. However, those legs are to die for. Imagine a woman almost as old as me with legs like that.
Haruka, well, this is very much the theme we were going for, however, your pose and face don't match. One arm does, the other doesn't. I'd like it better if your arms were caressing your breasts. And your face, it looks like you're embarrassed and defeated. I'd like it to be very sexy.
I was looking for something more like this:
C. Viper: Yeah, I was imagining that this round might have been a bit more difficult for you than the others. I agree with the other judges that your legs are looking fantastic here, but your upper-body is a bit of a let-down. It's definitely a much better shot than I was expecting to see from Tilda and you've chosen well from what you've had to work with.
I had higher hopes for Haruka, but I'm a little disappointed here, too. The lack of clothing gives it a connection to the theme, but I'm not a fan of the positioning of your arms nor your expression. Neither of them really read "glamour" to me.

Lindsay: Pin Up
David: Glamour:
Morgan: [/b] Hello Marilyn Monroe wannabe! You are looking very reminiscent of such a classic model and you are doing a good job of it. This photo is very tasteful despite the fact that you are in your birthday suit. You are working your body well but I would have liked to see you stretching out your legs a little more rather than pulling them closer to you, this would have helped to make you look longer. The facial expression and your general styling is giving us a great 50s vibe, however your left eye seems to have gone to sleep. Wake it up and that will be one delicious expression.
David you are one muscular man! Even with some blacked out spots and with your back to the camera your muscles are very exemplary. Depending on what exactly was showing behind that black spot on your bum, it may have been fine to leave it bare and revealed. I find the two black spots to be a little off putting rather than it being a censor and sensual. It looks like you are giving us a playful pose with your hand but the black spots hide your attempt. Your face in this photo is impeccable. I love the directness and lust that is radiating from your expression. You are paying so much attention to your mirror, I want you to be paying more attention to the camera!
Janice: Lindsay's picture is the epitome of pin up. Body positioning is great, and the styling and make up matches too. But Morgan does make a good point about the eyes.
David's, I feel it's very pin up, but not quite glamourous. I'd've liked to see a more provocative pose, groping yourself, etc. I feel this picture is too much of a fashion picture. Some great modelling here, but still, not so much glamour than a fashion picture.
Perhaps something more like this:
{SPOILER: DAVID}
C. Viper: Your pin-up shot definitely has the pin-up feel. The styling and lighting of the shot seem like it was tailor-made for this shoot. As the other judges have already touched on, your eyes are looking a bit off here, but that's really the only problem here.
David, the judges have felt that you've been the weak link of the team. This round, I feel you've carried your weight. It's sexual, has a bit of a trashy element to it, and I'm pretty fond of it. Is it perfect? No. But you've filled the parameters of the shoot in a solid manner and it's a stronger shot than I was expecting to see from a male model this round.
Team Stingy:
Wen: Pin Up
Sanji: Glamour
Wen: Pin Up
Sanji: Glamour
Janice: For me, this picture of Wen is not glamour sexy, but just plain old sexy. Glamour is more raunchier. I think you should've swapped Wen and Sanji around and have her do the pin up: For me, yes, it's okay. I love the face, and I love the fashion. But unfortunately, we aren't marking on fashion this week, and
As for Sanji, this is more glamour than pin up for me. I can see the pin up angle, and I love the pose and the body. I'm not entirely sold on the merman element. As I said, I think Sanji could've done better in Glamour.
Morgan: I agree with Janice's suggestion that a swap between Wen being pin up and Sanji being glamour would have suited the theme more. Wen's photo is too safe for glamour. You do look sexy but its tasteful, I don't see fetish, extreme or unique elements in this photo to make it glamour. Your red hot lips do look delicious and I like the styling of the photo.
Sanji this has fetish written all over it! I love the merman conception and boy does that tail seem to be coming out of an interesting place. You look like a rich and incredibly ribbed underwater king, any chance of trading places? I am a somewhat rich but renowned actor and director? Your job looks a lot more fun! The laid back posing looks great and the added touch of a cigarette gives you a bad boy appearance. If only this was glamour! This is too extreme for pinup.
C. Viper: I got the shots a bit mixed up at first cause I thought Wen was Pin Up and that Sanji was Glamour. Wen still fits a bit in the Glamour area in that it's a sexualized shot, but since you called it Glamour instead of Pin Up, you definitely could have taken the shot further than this.
Sanji works for Pin Up better than Wen does for Glamour, so it's not as much of a mismatched label. There's a certain level of sex appeal here, but it boarders a bit on trashy, which is why Glamour probably would have been a better match-up. However, I do have to say that I am overall very happy with your styling. I've mentioned before how much I hate your eyebrows (but understand your character needs to keep them since they are a part of his design), but your eyebrows have been minimized here (while still remaining present). I didn't even notice them until I checked to make sure they were still there.

Sun Kissed :
Ariel: Pin up
Abbey: Glamour
Ariel: Pin up
Abbey: Glamour
Morgan: This photoshoot theme has to be my most favourite theme in the cycle! Ariel time after time you have shown us that you can produce stunning photos that are so tranquil and artistically sublime. I love the softness in this photo the vibrancy in your hair and body. This is a soothing photo of feminine beauty but not necessarily a sexy pin up photo. Perhaps some eye contact over your shoulder or angling the torso more to the camera would have given it more of a pin up feel.
Abbey you have got me endlessly questioning whether the shadow that is crossing the middle of your body is covering some nudity or some dark panties. There are many elements of this photo that I enjoy but there are also things that I think could be improved. I love the long slender fingers on your hips, they look like spider legs almost, the kink in your hip is great as well as the symbolic shadow horns above your eyes. Although the trench coat works to create a glamour feel for your body it then steals your neck and mouth which doesn't work too well for me. The pose may be too safe for glamour pin up also.
Janice: I like this picture of Ariel, but not quite as a pin up. I think it's missing a bit of sex appeal. It's a stunning picture, but I think we may have to dock a few points for sex appeal.
I have the same problem here with Abbey, it's great for fashion, but it completely lacks the sex appeal that this photoshoot so desperately needs. There's not much more I can add that Morgan hasn't done through. I'm sorry.
C. Viper: I feel like we can generally count on you to bring it when you use Ariel and this is no exception. It's such a beautiful shot of you and to me, definitely says "pin up". I love the way your hair blows in the wind and you have a great pose there. Solid work.
I like how the shadows in the shot prevent the need for censoring here. It's a pretty provocative shot and there are parts of it that read trashy to me, so you've definitely fulfilled the requirements of the shot. I love how fierce your face looks even with only half of it showing. I also love how when you're saved after being in the bottom, you really bring it the following shoot. From now on, just cut out the "being in the bottom" part and stick to this part.
