This is a charming little photo and I love the symbolism of the bird being released from the cage and the fact that you have shown yourself in childhood, a time when many of us have felt the most free.

I have to steal Bella's word when describing this shot: it's charming. It does remind me of the style of art you'd find in a children's book. There's a definite sense of freedom here, but I think it's coming a bit at the expense of modeling value. There's a nice sense of art to the photo as the style can clearly be something that is paying homage, though.

It is charming, but not really what I'm expecting at this end of the competition. I'm expecting a bit more. Clearly, we can see freedom, but as Celine notes, it's come at an expense.
