Photoshoot Description: The muses are the goddesses of the Arts. Each muse represents a different type of Art, there are 9 of them in total.
Calliope: She is the muse of Epic Poetry (Lengthy narratives like The Odyssey and The Iliad). She is often depicted with a tablet.
Clio: She is the muse of history and is often depicted with a scroll.
Erato: She is the muse of love poetry (Think any love song, even examples from the bible like The Song of Solomon). She is often depicted with a lyre.
Euterpe: She is the muse of song and elegiac (mournful) poetry. She is often depicted with a flute.
Melpomene: She is the muse of tragedy (A story with a sad ending like Romeo and Juliet, or a modern example: Sucker Punch). She is depicted with a tragic mask.
Polyhymnia: She is the muse of hymns. She is often depicted in a pensive and thoughtful state and often with a veil.
Terpsichore: She is the muse of dance. She is also often depicted with a lyre.
Thalia: She is the muse of comedy (A story with a happy ending like A Midsummer Nights Dream, or most modern films). She is depicted with a comedy mask.
Urania: She is the muse of astronomy and astrology (Which were one in the same back in those days), she is often depicted with a globe and compass.

Of course, I know there are male only teams here, so all team, use your creativity and imagination to reinvent the ancient goddesses into a modern god or goddess. It's a very open, but specific shoot, so remember to explain your photo and convince us. A description for this photoshoot is required. We will be judging you on it.
