Final three! We saw what you look like in person! For some it was great, others not so much! But let's see who will be our finalists!
Janice: What can I say about Yasmin other than Yowza! Her face looks amazing, and that hair and the dress! Just from this photo we can see how beautiful and graceful her runway walk is, and all those sexy curves on your body.
Kelly looks amazingly tall. I know she's only 5' 8", but here she looks at least 5' 11". Her dress looks amazing on her, and not only does it accentuate her curves, but also accentuates her height. I love the accessories, but I think a clutch would have really set it off.
I was really wondering what Storm would pull out for a cosplay, but I totally forgot about Halle Berry's portrayal of her. I adore the angles in this photo, and how twisted the body looks, but at the same time it looks comfortable and doable. I also love the energy with the face.
This won't take away from your results, merely a story here: One qualm I had with this portrayal since it was a movie was the fact they didn't give Halle blue contacts, or alter her eyes. Storm has blue eyes.
Rarity: Yasmin, I absolutely love that dress. It looks like something I might design myself for somepony. What makes it work so well is you. Your skin tone and figure compliment everything about it. I even like your hair. Well done!
Kelly, an echo of Yasmin, I love your dress, it has a subtle exotic feel to it and this time it compliments your figure. I love your pose as well. Very good job.
Storm, I do love this photo, it's got attitude and a new look as far as hairstyle and attire. However, I feel as though this was extremely safe as far as cosplay goes, since you went with the movie version. It's still very good though.
Morgan: Someone knows how to strut their stuff well! You look powerful, fierce and confident here. As the other judges have noted your dress and hair look great, very high fashion. I love the length in your neck and the way your dress compliments your body so well.
Kelly you are looking fine on the red carpet. I love the cute train of your dress and the way it shows off all the right curves. Your pose is simple and elegant and I love the alertness, and emotion radiating from your face.
Storm, now doesnt this look great. Your Storm character looks very powerful, still with that beautiful edgy feel. I would have loved to see those piercing blue eyes like Janice said but I still think this is a impressive real life representation of Storm.
Janice: WHITE! White everywhere!
I absolutely adore Andrej's androgyny! I love the fact he is able to walk in a women's runway show to! This photo showcases what he is best known for: His androgyny. But it also showcases his lovely walk too. His face is absolutely dynamite! As for the dress, well it shows off his lovely broad shoulders and flat chest.
Back to long hair, Ms Watson? Well we all know Emma is known for her personal style on the red carpet, and this photo is know exception. She is showing off that lovely dress almost flawlessly, and those accessories (the ring and the bracelet) are great! I think a white headband would have really set off this outfit.
Well, I must admit, I'm a bit fascinated by those muscles you have hidden underneath your tunic. You must send this cosplayer's personal details to me, because he has a date with Janice Dickinson. That outfit is perfect, and it looks like a lot of effort went into making it so. It's a great action shot, and looks like a cutscene from a game. Good job.
Rarity: Andrej, I mean, come on, could you get any more versatile? Not a chance, unless you can shape shift into a pony I see no foreseeable way for this to be any better. Your expression is so strong and you fill out the dress spectacularly. I'm seriously impressed. Great work!
Emma, I enjoy the dress, how it's only one strap and has a slip. Your pose is somewhat subtle and overall the package is there. I was hoping for more energy because while I can see sass written on your face, it, like everything else, is subtle and subtlety can only get you so far.
Link, Fantastic. Once again I'm blown away with a photo from you. It really looks as if a real life adult Link is travelling through the forest on his way to or from home. The outfit is great, the shield is lifelike and the master sword is fantastic, or what can be seen of it. So very impressed by this!
Morgan: If I didnt know any better I would think you are 100% female and would have taken you home right then and there...which could lead to complications. Your versatility is amazing and you look so gentle, soft and serene but also so powerful and that facial expression is fierce!
Emma I am thoroughly enjoying that dress on you and the cute little pose your giving us too. I wish there were some more emotion coming from you because you look a little tired, and the background is a little busy which in hindsight isnt really a problem because you stand out so well.
Link is real! ahhh so exciting. I love the rippling muscles underneath your beautifully accurate costume. This is a perfect representation of Link. Furthermore your modelling is still pretty strong here with your profile and strong stance.
Janice: Jessica Stam looks so cute and energetic. There's a lot of personality in this little photo. The body is banging, the smile is cute, and the accessories are adorable.
Uhh. Yeah we'll go with the second photo for that reason you said.
Jessica J's photo. She does look tall, and her face is cute, but the dress makes it look like she's preggers and has a huge ass! The face is great, but the body ain't.
Now Jessica U, what can I say about this beautiful cosplay scene between you and Kanon, the servant. Despite there being two cosplayers here, the scene is completely stolen by you, probably mainly due to your face showing of which I love the half-infatuated gaze you're giving him. The clothing is perfect. And I love the narrative. Great shot!
Rarity: Jessica 1.0, no one can deny the energy in this shot but honestly, I tilted me head and went... wtf? So much glitter all around, so little clothing that seems to be miniature sized as well. From the hat, to the jacket to the crazy footwear, it just isn't impressing me. I would never wear something like that and I would hope I would be able to stop any teenage ponies from wanting to unless they wanted to be considered slutty. Definitely not your best.
Jessica 2.0, I can't tell you how thrilled I am that you submitted a second photo since there is no red carpet visible and honestly, you look like a special needs person who can't get control of themselves. The second photo however is actually fantastic. I like how you're actually calm in a photo. I understand it was difficult to find a photo where you were alone and the cropping job makes that evident. I don't feel the dress compliments you very well, it seems bulky so I wish you had the first dress on in the second photo. I just don't know, it's good but it's not great.
Jessica 3.0, Your cosplay is absolutely amazing! I am ecstatic that you were able to find an action shot and do think this is your strongest photo of the three (technically four) that you submitted. Well done!
Janice: It's Victoria's Secret, Rarity. Classy knickers.
Morgan: Wow, the first thing that comes to my head when I see this is cheerleader Jess! Your body looks great and you look like your having fun. But to be honest this wasn't what I was expecting, its different and I like that however I dont know if the fashion element and the different spin to this photo will be in your favour.
Im so glad you gave us a back up, because the first photo wouldnt have got you far. I wish we could see a photo of solely you so we could see more in the photo and so that you wouldnt look so scrunched up, but if solo red carpet photos are hard to find for Jessica then I understand. You look very beautiful and graceful here, however your dress isn't too flattering on your body.
Lastly, school girl cosplay! My favourite love, you look adorable here and I love the connection and the interaction that is going on here, it brings a lot more depth. I wish we could see you standing up, but its a minor complaint.
