Fresh Fish
Utada: This shot seems a bit more sexual than artistic. Even if I don't feel like the posing is helping the theme connection, it's still some nice posing in general. Your hair's looking pretty nice in this shot, too.
Janice: I see where Utada is coming from with the sexy part, but it's the granny panties that lose it for me. As in you need to lose them. I think you should've cropped them out. I don't think it's so sexy, as it is indie. It looks like its from an artsy indie magazine like Frankie.
Rarity: Darling, I see a sense of seduction in this shot. I also see artistic value with how the shadows are dancing around the photo. The quality is poor, and that is what makes this photo suffer the most for me.
Emma: I see artistic over sexual personally. I don't see granny panties lol. I like this
Frostbite
Utada: It's strange that despite the stripper pole, this isn't the most sexual shot this round. Probably helps that I've had some friends who practiced pole dancing as a form of expression. While the posing could lead a bit more into the sexual and away from the artistic, I still like it overall. Your boots and gloves add some nice fashion to a shot where by the very theme, we won't be getting much of.
Janice: I'm in agreeance with Hikki. It's still a little bit sexy because of the posing, but I think its the shoes and gloves that detract from the theme. It's still a gorgeous picture though.
Rarity: Honestly, darling, I think you nailed this challenge to the best of your ability. I live for a black and white photo, and I especially love when a unique pose gives it an artistic edge. There is so little going on in the photo and yet it's stunning. Great work.
Emma: I love this but the erotic will knock you down a bit. Very good job though. Any other nude theme this would have been top tier for me
Team Hara-Kiri
Utada: I love the art style. I love the artistic expression. I just overall love this shot. I'm having trouble finding any fault.
Janice: Gorgeous picture. It's almost like this shoot was made for Ivy. Very good job this round.
Rarity: Well, this is obviously an amazing photo, meeting the theme requirement for artistic value and spot on modelling. Beautifully done.
Emma: Wow. Just wow. Great job.
Ivy League
Utada: For someone who wasn't able to spend much time on this shoot, you have some of the better shots this round. I feel this is done in an artistic manner. Yeah, I would have preferred to have a full body shot, but this is still nice. I love the look on your face, too; giving us some nice energy.
Janice: I'm not going to say anything about full body because I did advise contestants that cropping was a suggested way to create an illusion. The thing I will have to nitpick on is that I wish this were with longer hair.
Rarity: While I feel your explanation was unnecessary, your photo is wonderful, and anyone should appreciate Penelope in whatever attire or lack thereof she chooses to find herself in because she rocks it. The artistic value is definitely there too. Good work.
Emma: I like this. Not my fave but I like it
Team Marvellous
Utada: I like your hair more than anything else in the shot. You've definitely met the theme. It's definitely more artistic than sensual, but I still feel the artistic side could be a bit stronger. Still, it's a nice shot.
Janice: It's a simple picture, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I too love the hair, and the positioning of the arms and legs is great too. I think it's more the setting that's taking away from it, on one hand, the black background brings all the attention to Marloes, however, a background would have perhaps brought some more artistry here.
Rarity: Yes! This is perfect, darling. Or nearly there, I would have cropped a little of the black "white space" on the right, but I am impressed with how you were able to capture complete nudity with taste and create art out of it. Great work.
Emma: Expression off but otherwise this is great.
Neon Demons
Janice: Perhaps I'm not reading into it. I see vulnerability, but I do feel a little bit underwhelmed here. The eyes do all the work, however what's with that arm growing out of your head?
Rarity: I'm with Janice, I see vulnerability in this shot, and while I appreciate it, I feel like confidence for an artistic nude shot would have translated better. I'm not thrilled with how she is crouched into a ball and appears to be sucking her thumb like an infant. I do love that black and white seems to be a trend for this shoot, and I see an artistic aspect to it as well. The quality could be a touch better though.
Utada: I dont think looking vulnerable is a bad thing in this shoot. It lends a sense of artistry in my eyes. If this were a "sexy" shoot or something, yeah it'd be a problem, but not here. There is a very slight quality problem here, but overall I like this shot.
Emma: Oh darling. Two rounds in a row you were my fave. I like this and vulnerable doesn't really matter because art can be vulnerable. This isn't my favourite tho....but hopefully good enough to keep you around.
Tier 1
Janice: This is a gorgeous picture of Angie, and if the theme was pin up, you may have received best picture for this. But the theme is artistic nude, and there's a bit too much sexiness going on here. And what's with the foot coming out of her anus? Otherwise, I have no qualms with this.
Rarity: I am definitely impressed, darling. This has been a much stronger round than I anticipated going in. I do get pin-up vibes, and I feel a pin-up is a form of artistry. aside from the shoes and thong, tasteful nudity is blatantly present. Good work here.
Utada: I like this shot. In a round where we're getting several black and white shots, the clear, strong colors in this shot pop even more. There's some nice posing here and the theme comes through. While not the strongest connection artistically, it's still there.
Emma: This is overtly sexy.....strange because Angie Harmon is a plain sexy like Sandra Bullock lol. They just have that plain Jane face. Anyway....I don't get artistic from this. But I love the shoes.
Who Needs Names?
Janice: The only problem I have with this is the jacket. Otherwise I think you nailed this.
Rarity: Darling, I am in love. Jacket be damned, this is pure art. Strong, confident, gorgeous. Home run!
Utada: Your skin looks flawless here; I love it. Very strong posing and theme connection. Loving this.
Emma: Very nice. Very very nice
