The Bat Gang
Janice: This looks like something straight out of my dreams. Not in that I dread of huge muscle bound men, or topless women, but I usually dream that I'm in an RPG. With that said, you have the theme connection part down, however, where you struggle is with fashion, obviously, but it's not easy with a lion cloth, and your modelling. Your face is harsh, but you're not modelling through it, and your shoulders are very hunched over and tense too.
Emma: I like the whole dream aspect of this, but I want to see more face wise with you. Overall a good job.
Rarity: If there is one thing I could take away from this, darling, it's how unique the outfit is compared to Batman's usual attire. I love the dreamlike qualities in the photo. From the men falling into the abyss to the bats surrounding our hero and the ginger maiden looking up. It's almost a fantasy of Batman's, and it's dark and twisty just like he is. Good job.
Utada: It fits the theme and nice that you still gave some description (always a plus to give descriptions on interpretive themes. Its nice to see Batman in different clothes too. Like Emma said I'd like see see your face better, but this touches on quite a few categories, so good work.

Fresh Fish
Janice: This reminds me of one of those horrible dreams where you try to run, but you don't get anywhere, and you feel caged in. There's some strong imagery, but in terms of fashion content, that's one of the ugliest dresses I've ever seen.
Emma: I like this but I wish your face wasn't blocked, over all a good submission
Rarity: Honestly, darling, if the cage wasn't in this photo it would be a wonderful dream. Look at all the beauty surrounding you, and the nightmare of it all is that you are separated from it. I too wish I could see more of your face, but overall, this is strong.

Utada: You've done well connecting to the theme. You're face may be slightly obscured, but it was sacrificed to help the theme, so I can accept it. Dress isn't doing it for me, but I don't hate it like Janice does. Love the scenery around you.
Frostbite
Janice: You have a flair for impressive pictures like this. I'm going to say you've hit almost every aspect of judging on the head, however, you'll lose points from me for modelling and execution. The pose could be more dramatic, the face is emotionless and empty, and I think you could have cropped it a little but inwards to focus it more on you, rather than relying on the scenery.
Emma: I can't see the face, she's too far away. The overall image is great but the face is non existance becauswe of how far away or how small this is
Rarity: Well, I'm creeped out, darling. Elsa seems to be having a moment with Princess Luna, we like to also call her Nightmare Moon. I do love that dress trail and the scenery does its job, but I do also echo the other judges, a bit closer next time, dear. Good job over all, though.

Utada: On one hand, I'd hate to lose the overall impact of the image by having it tighter on you, but for the purposes of the competition, I think that would have helped you. However, its an overall beautiful shot that fits the theme well. The posing is fine by me cause this shot tells a story and the lose is fitting. Not the most exciting, but it works.
Team Hara-Kiri
Janice: If you're using the kamikaze approach from last season I don't think it worked in your favour this round. This is a lovely picture, but this round it is lost in the dreamland this round. That being said, it has a lot of redeemable qualities that will help it in our scoring.
Emma: I didn't even realize this was Victoria, looks nothing like her. I love the picture but not sure how it fits with the theme
Rarity: As a nature photo, this would be stunning darling. As it is, I can see a little bit of a dreamland based on the hue and camera color. It's extremely vivid and quite wonderful to look at. I'm not sure its up to par with what we have on the roster this round though.

Utada: While not the most pronounced example of the theme this round, I think the lighting and vibe of the shot do connect to the theme. I love the way you look in the shot and its just overall beautiful.
Ivy League
Janice: Once upon a dream... Wait that's the wrong movie. I think Penny looks flawless here, however, the issue I have is with her beast. It almost looks like he was photoshopped in.
Emma: I like this but I hate having to follow links to see better sized p;hotos. Overall, nice job.
Rarity: Darling, this looks like artwork. The photoshopping is so apparent. I appreciate the Beauty and the Beast reference, it's extremely dreamland in that aspect, but I feel like this photo belongs to last rounds reward challenge.

Utada: This shot looks overly worked and its probably the thing that bothers me the most. However, since the theme is Dreamland, the Photoshopping isnt as big of a negative as it would be in other rounds. The atmosphere and period costumes definitely lends itself well to the theme. Its an overall nice shot.
Team Marvellous
Janice: An amazing picture once again, Marvellous, but again, lacking on the theme connection. Again, you have an eye for quality, but you need to work on your theme connection. Remember what I've told you about selling your picture to us.
Emma: I love this but I agree, your face is so lacking
Rarity: I love a good artistic black and white photo, darling. I have to disagree, though, I see an intensity in your facial expression and I love the outfit, it's very Avante Garde and gives the impression of a fairy whose been cornered. Nice work.

Utada: With interpretive themes like this, descriptions can really help you out. Without one, it's making it a bit harder to connect you to the theme, which is a shame since you really do have a good eye for shots.
Neon Demons
Janice: I think cropping would have done this wonders. The smoky filter itself is enough to evoke a dream like image. I think it might have been stronger with more focus on Elle, because she looks fantastic.
Emma: This is great! I like this completely, best of the round so far.
Rarity: Oh, darling, this is wonderful. From the gingerbread house background to fairy costume and the lighting. This truly does look like a dreamland. I'm sincerely impressed. Well done.

Utada: The house being faded into the background makes it so I don't need you to be more focused in the picture since you are obviously the focus. It's a beautiful shot thats really appropriate this round. Good work.
Tier 1:
Janice: The huge issue here is that Nyle should be the focus, instead, he is the accessory on the woman. I'm also not particularly buying your description here. I'm not particularly seeing any theme connection. You also would have benefited from cropping. However fashion is on point.
Emma: Hmmmmm sorry not a fan
Rarity: Darling, I'm not a fan of descriptions doing the work the photo should be doing on its own. As it is, I'm not sure I buy a nightmare scene unless I think of the background people as ghosts, stalking two lusty lovers. The setting is beautiful, but probably would have been better off for a cultural shoot.

Utada: I'm the opposite of Rarity in that I appreciate descriptions. I feel they can enhance shots. When it comes to this shot, I'm not liking that you are not the focus of the shot. On the bright side, you're displaying good fashion content, so that'll help you out this round.
Tier 2:
Janice: I have a weakness for this style, so I enjoy it. However in terms of overall wow factor that many other pictures in this round got, it falls a little but flat. I adore the face though. It's sexy but not too hoe
Emma: The styling is nice, but not really greatly impressed here
Rarity: The quality is a little off, darling, but I do love everything about this photo. I love that your model has antlers, and I love the modelling aspect as well. Her expression is doing wonders to bring the photo to life. I'm impressed tbh.

Utada: Nice pose, nice fashion, but the production value doesn't feel that high when compared to other shots, though. Feels a bit amaturish in execution.
Who Needs Names?
Janice: I dont think that the issue is resizing, as the link you posted is also rather small. It effects the quality a bit because of the graininess of the jpeg. I see and understand the dream aspect, but you're lacking a little bit on the modelling and execution fronts.
Emma: Actually the modeling is pretty good, but her face is not great.
Rarity: I really like this, darling, somehow, I feel it's the outfit and modelling. I can see the nightmare of being pinned by knives and it's quite vivid, just as a nightmare should be. Good work.

Utada: The sizing is a bit on the small side, but its not too bad since I can still see what I need to in the shot. Its a good choice for the round with nice posing and fairly good fashion. Shakira will be a bit of a tough one for me since I am so familiar with her portfolio that it'll be a bit more difficult to blow me away with shots I've already seen. I'll just have to keep in mind not to penalize you for me being familiar with your shots.
