This week, your scores carried on from last round. Consistency was the name of the game. You were tasked with representing of the Japan's Seven Lucky Gods.
"So I drew something this round and as Jurojin. the God of knowledge. I feel there are many lessons to learn from books and the pictures and fantasy they paint in our minds.we get lost in those worlds. I decided to modernize Alice designing a fascinator for her and putting her in a star covered jumper. Also Jurojin is all about youth and longevity both things I feel Alice exemplifies quite well"
Janice: I appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into this picture, and your a good artist. But I have to treat this like everyone else's, so I hope you understand.
The first thing I would say is that this should have been scanned in. The flash makes the stars the "star" of the picture, rather than Alice. I also think you need to work on shading and contouring the face. It looks pretty flat and featureless. The fascinator is to die for, but the dress looks like grandma's dressing gown. I see aspects of Jurojin in it, and you fit the theme.
Hel: I'm not sure we've had someone draw their own image before. I definitely appreciate the amount of effort you've put into your shot this round. The posing ties in well with your theme, but the stars are a bit distracting and I don't think you needed all those words to get the theme across. I agree with Janice that your shading and contouring could stand to be stronger to help flesh out the picture more. Still, I really do appreciate the level of effort you've put into this round and it's a hell of a lot better than anything I could hope to draw.
Emma: The photo is gorgeous and you did an awesome job. The writing a bit much, too much sorry there, but otherwise, very good job.
Janice: Where was this last week. You are posing FOR YOUR LIIIIIFE! The image should be a tiny bit bigger, because I want to see ALL of this. You have the power of the Gods in your pose. I think you're going to score very highly on this from me.
Hel: Reverse image searching is your friend. I popped this into Google Images and came back with a photo that was 625 x 885 (which 900 pixels tends to be my personal preference for a max image size and what I prefer most since it gives us a better opportunity to view all aspects of the image at once). Still, I love this shot. Your dress is wonderful and your pose is everything. I can see the connection to your god, but your fashion and modeling content are definitely the stars of this shoot.
Emma: Very good job. Small, but gorgeous as fuck. The light is distracting but I really like this photo.
Janice: At first, I was worried. I was like "Oh, okay, that's decent..." Then I saw the fan. Which is painfully edited in. It's pretty bad. I can't really get past that. It's pretty weak in terms of theme connections, all we have are fishes, but you aren't interacting with them.
Emma: The hand is gross, looks huge and hairy, I know it's supposed to be but ewwwwwww. I'm not sure what I think of this. Not great, sorry
Hel: I feel like you have the opposite problem with this shot than with your other team. The connection to your theme is tenuous at best and wasn't executed very well. However, I do love the quality/art style of the shot. Your hair and eyes in particular are fantastic. However, like Janice pointed out, the fan wasn't shopped in very well (would've been a very nice touch had it blended in more) and the fish are more incidental than anything.
.
Emma: Oh that photo is not good but you already know this and then Janice posts a picture that is fucking amazing and now I can't leave because I can't stop looking at it. Bad Janice always posting photos.
Hel: If we reversed the Reward and Elimination shoots this round, you'd be set (I've been trying to decide between you and Ebony for the Reward for the past 2 days). I am very disappointed with your shot this week. While you've met the theme well, all other areas of the shot have suffered for it. I'm not a fan of screenshots and view the as only a last resort for when you have absolutely nothing else. Hopefully your strong showing last round (since the scores are being combined for this week's shoot) will help you stay and regain your spot at the top.
Emma: Damn girl, that photo is gorgeous. Love how happy she looks and the dress is to die for.
Hel: Thinking about it, something so mundane as happiness is probably one of the harder photos just because in modeling games, the more mundane the topic, the less likely the judges are to fawn over a shot, no matter how good it may be. That said, I think you've done well with this shot. You have a beautiful smile and it feels genuine. I didn't get the dress at first (just in connection to the shot cause I liked it on its own), but after reading your description, you've sold it well and it's nice to see a connection to your god other than just a smile. Overall, nice work.
Emma: This is good. You look bored but hey, most rich people probably are fucking bored lol
Hel: I've noticed that you've not included a description with your shot this week. I can only imagine its because you don't need one. It's easy to see your connection this week. I like your styling and while your posing it a bit odd, I find myself liking it, anyway. I don't really care for your eyes this round (both of them rather than just the one Janice doesn't like), but that's about the only thing I don't really care for. I'm kind of jealous of your crown.
Just make sure you recognize who the true queen is around here!
Janice: Ah, I remember this picture. It feels strange having to critique it, when I used it myself. I was never a fan of the water effects in this picture, but I see your BSing in there, I buy it. But it does take a bit away from the execution. Decent showing this week.
Emma: The water affect makes this photo look grainy as fuck so I don't like it at all, sorry
Hel: I do believe you've forgotten to plug your mic in, sir.
THAT'S A GIRL, YOU IDIOT!!!
I don't care for the water effect, but you've connected it to your goddess, so it's much more acceptable now. It's easy to see the connection to music in this photo and it's definitely a memorable shot. Overall, good work.
Janice: Honey, Sex Sells week was in week 2. I think you got the wrong shoot. Beauty and sexiness aren't the same thing. I mean, it's a beautiful picture, but we have seen this side of Cara before. Face, is beautiful, but I think I'd prefer a bit more imagery from Kichijouten, like her tiara. I'd've help sell this theme more, and show you did some research.
Emma: This is gorgeous! I love the soft tones of the photo, the material matches with Gods/Goddesses. Your model looks beautiful. I really really love this.
Hel: Before even reading your description I figured you were going for an Aphrodite vibe.
How pathetic! Aphrodite can't even fight her own battles; always having to tether herself to someone else to be of any use!
Umm... this isn't Smite, so calm down. When it comes to the photo, I do think this leans more towards the sexy end of things than the beauty end. Still, you have some great posing and it has a great, professional look to the shot itself.

Daikoku - God of the Earth and Agriculture
"He is the god of agriculture and also apparently wealth, so I associate agriculture with plants and growth. And Alicia bein' a rich bitch. I'm also dying of the plague. Take mercy, or don't, I'm cool either way. Like shivering cool. Seriously, fuck this plague."

Ebisu - God of the Sea and Fishing
"Ebisu is sometimes known for granting wishes through a folding fan. So Leone is depicting a wish for a better yield of catching fish. A good wish for Ebisu to grant since he is also the god of the ocean. The wish conjured up a storm of fish so that the wisher can now have these fish."

Bishamonten - God of Warriors and Treasure
"Not only is Bishamonten the god of treasure but also warriors. He is normally is depicted as wearing armor and wielding weapons. Here, miguel is wearing a traditional/formal Spanish attire (kind of like a military uniform) and also wielding guns to defend against invaders."
Janice: I don't really know how you can go from that stunning Squall picture... To this...The screenshot is incredibly grainy and bad quality. If you're going to use a screenshot or production still, the first thing you need to look for is quality, followed by modelling content. You had free choice out of every god/dess, and I'm not going to lie, I'm disappointed. Also, given this is a double elimination round, I would've used Sean in this shoot. This picture is severely lacking in modelling and execution.Bishamonten - God of Warriors and Treasure

Hotei - God of Contentment and Happiness
Hotei - God of Contentment and Happiness
"I went with this picture because I think it works on a metaphorical level: Hotei is the god of good health and abundant growth, which is represented by the bicycle and the freshness in both the expression and the setting (with green being prominent, as well as greenery very apparent in the reflections on the window). From a more literal standpoint, Hotei is the laughing Buddha, primarily depicted as a wanderer wearing sackcloth clothing. The texture of the dress is reminiscent of what Hotei wears in most of the pictures I've found, the pose is similar to some carvings that I've seen of Hotei, and the way the skirt sits evokes Hotei's signature rotund figure without looking quite as grotesque as he usually does. Hotei is also usually depicted carrying a basket or a sack, which also shows up in the photo.
Hope you like it!
Picture for reference:
"
Janice: That's a good picture of Emmy you posted as an reference of Hotei, but I must focus on Bingbing. I don't think you needed to go so indepth on that description, though I do appreciate it. You have the genuine smile, the dress invokes rags (Though if Morgan judges, I think he'd want to see boobs like with Emmy's picture), and the picture itself is pretty jovial. I think you did a good job."
Emma: Damn girl, that photo is gorgeous. Love how happy she looks and the dress is to die for.

Fukurokuju - God of Wealth, Happiness and Longevity
Janice: I'm completely buying this. You look absolutely gorgeous. However, one of your eyes is a bit sleepy, and the sleeves make your hands look detached, from the rest of you, and your bottom half look a little heavy. Although, I definitely see the god of wealth here.Fukurokuju - God of Wealth, Happiness and Longevity

Benzaiten - Goddess of Music and Elegance
"I think the music connection is very apparent - the Elvis-inspired costume and microphone take care of that. I ultimately went with this picture over others because of the water effects in the atmosphere here. Benzaiten is a water goddess, and I thought the water and mist evoked a tumultuous rushing river. I get the feeling that this is gonna be one of those pictures that you either love or hate, but I hope that you love it! <3"

Kichijouten - Goddess of Beauty and Fertility
"Between Selena and Cara, I had a lot of options for this theme! I went back and forth a lot before settling on this picture. I had several of pretty/cute pictures of Selena to pick from but in the end I think Cara’s stunning face and knockout body are a much stronger representation. There’s something very Aphrodite-esque going on in this picture. She looks like every man’s dream."
