Water is apparent, and everything looks great. I do think the blue is a bit overpowering though. The main problem I have is really the art style - It comes off more on the ameteurish-side, meaning I'd have to take some points of in execution. Otherwise, not bad.

I agree, the blue overpowers a lot. Really distracting. And the photo just seems plain to me. I'd have to look at the rest of your portfolio but in comparison to last round, huge let down.

The water connection is apparent and the posing is nice, but I'm not loving your face. While I do think your face was drawn well (especially compared to other aspects of the photo), it's the expression that's a bit of a problem for me. We've also seen shots with a stronger art style coming from you. Overall, there is more to like than dislike in this photo.
