Photoshoot #1
~ For Freja, I decided to submit something simple but still provocative enough. I just want you guys to remember her. Shailene is very commercial but it was quite tough to find a photo where her smile looked so natural. Finally for Draculaura, I manage to find something with less makeup which is pretty tough cause Draculaura and makeups were inseparable. But I really like the one that I found. Not so much makeups.
Potential - Freja Beha
Smile - Shailene
Basic Beauty - Draculaura

Welcome back to the competition. You signed up just in the nick of time!
Despite Freya's lack of fashion, I still think this is a strong showing. We can see her in her natural state with nothing to distract us. It really is the right way to see her potential. However, fashion content would have been good.
Shailene, it's a very approachable picture, but there's no fire in those eyes! It comes across to me as a fake smile. At least it could be put on a magazine cover.
And Draculaura, this probably is the most natural you can get. The anime style may put you at disadvantage against the rest of the competition; I've mainly seen realistic pictures this round. However, it is what we asked for.

Freja - Captivating. You have stolen my heart. This is wonderfully pure, clear and direct. You are showing us your canvas and the potential you can bring with no assistance from fashion, props or a setting. And yet in the absence of all these factors you have reigned victorious. You have created dimensions in your photo just through your posing. I see a 2D approach in your legs and torso and a 3D approach in the life of your face and shoulder. Stunning and artistic.
Shailene - This is pretty, its covergirl, its commercial but in comparison to that stunner above you its a lacklustre. You look like a breath of fresh air on surface appearance level but I want to see personality and emotion breaking through that pretty exterior.
Draculaura - I don't know whether you are a lovely innocent vampire or a vicious purple makeup obsessed vampire that will show her teeth at any second. Either way your appearance is unique as is illustrated here in this simple photo. I'll be interested in how Draculaura models.

Freja - I can definitely appreciate a nude shot done tastefully and this is definitely a tasteful shot. You've definitely thought about the best way to show off your model and I can't think of anything negative to say here. Fashion Content is one of the categories on the scoring rubric, so you might run into a little trouble there, but other than that, I don't see you having trouble anywhere.
Shailene - I have to agree with the other judges here. This is a very commercial shot and would be a good shot for CoverGirl. It's a good shot and one of the better smiling shots I've seen (as I said in another model's critique, I generally don't care for most "Smiling" photoshoots).
Draculaura - It's a Basic Beauty, but I kind of feel like it's a little too basic and that's due to the art style. We got a lot of highly detailed shots this round and this shot lacks those details that really make it pop. It's still a nice shot, but not your best this round.

Lucky week for Freja. This week, Fashion Content was not one of the categories (although, expect it to be a category most rounds).
