Welcome to the competition!
Let's start with Tao. The face is flawless, but there's something that can be said about sitting or kneeling "potential" pictures. Generally, they don't go over well. However, that fact is made up by the flawless fashion in this picture.
Vicki, I think this picture is better off in a cosmetics advertisement. It works well for that, but for a smile photoshoot? I don't think so. There's not much of a smile going on here. Perhaps a smirk, but it's not what we're looking for here.
Finally Usagi... I'd really prefer this to be around 200 pixels higher. i know that may not have been possible for this picture though. I think it's a strong start to the competition, regardless.

Tao- You look like a little porcelain doll, a porcelain doll that is working her body and her angles to the max. Even though you are kneeling your limbs look very long, like they have been folded in half. Your back and torso appear long and lean, giving you a petite and yet strong structure. This photo does show off a lot of potential, a solid job.
Vicky - This is very angel-esque you look soft and fresh two qualities that you have represented well. Your skin is flawless and your gaze is memorising however the focus of this photo is your smile and I'm not feeling that so much. I don't see many smile related (happiness, joy, elation) emotions being portrayed in your face I actually see a hint of seduction.
Usagi - Big blue eyed anime character my favourite! This is a lovely innocent, school yard photo of you that shows your natural elements in their purest form (look at that little dimple nose). However a photo of better quality, not so cropped (especially around the top of the head area) and larger would have aesthetically been more pleasing to look at.

Tao - The posture you're exhibiting here hinders your ability to show us your full potential. For this shoot, we like to see extension in your limbs and you're just too bunched up here. However, I agree with Janice that the fashion is great in this shot.
Vicki - This shot is too big for my tastes, especially with it being a headshot. The largest dimension I tend to prefer is about 900 cause if you go much further beyond that, it tends to not all fit on my screen at once and I'm forced to scroll to see the whole shot. I looked up the properties of this shot and its larger dimension is 1509. That said, it's a pretty shot of you, but we didn't really get the smile we were looking for here. It does at least leave me thinking that you do have potential, though.
Usagi - Since this is just a headshot, the smaller size doesn't really bother me; we can still see everything we need to see clearly enough. There were some nice details put into this shot, with the eyes being the obvious star here. It's a solid Basic Beauty, for sure.
