Daphne - The dress is definitely interesting (and I like that). The pose is unique and oddly fitting. I just personally don't like your face. There's just something about it that's unflattering, to me. Janice has shown me several shots of you when I said I didn't like your face here and she was trying to prove that's how you naturally look. I don't think there's anything natural about those lips. I HATE collagen lips; I think they make women look trashy. After seeing those other shots, your lips here are definitely better and look more normal. Anyway, face aside, I like this shot.
Mila - I'm not the biggest fan of this shot, either. It looks like a candid moment caught on film. The smile is way overdone.
Medusa - I had to move on from the Mila critique cause I was getting tired of being negative and wanted to get to the perfection that is your Medusa shot. This is stunning. You look glamorous here and it definitely makes me want to see more of you. There is literally nothing about this shot that I don't love.

It would seem Noel overtook me after I got distracted by pictures of tennis players for some reason, but welcome back to the competition!
Daphne, I think this is the strongest picture of your group. I disagree with Noel and I love the face, especially the cheekbones. I love the dress and the pose too. It works to make the photo dynamic and interesting.
Mila, I, too, am not a fan of this picture. Though it does seem genuine, I definitely wouldn't want to put this face on a product I'd be selling.
Medusa, I feel because of the scales and hands, you have completely missed the mark of the simplistic beauty shot. I think there's too much going on here. Too much make up, too much effects. I think you stretched too far to impress us. So much so, you ignored the guidelines of the photoshoot.

Daphne, I was just critiquing another team and it reminded me of something that I wanted to say to you. Last game, I hated Sanji's eyebrows and while I commented on it a lot, I did my best to not let a natural feature of the character distract me from being able to fairly score his shots. I will extend the same courtesy to you as Daphne. I will do my best to not let my hatred of fake lips affect my scores of you since that is a feature that you cannot help but have in every one of your shots.

What's wrong with fake lips?

Janice, I thought that things that were "apart of her" we're okay for this challenge. Yeah the black stuff on her hands might be too much, but the scales on her forehead are part of her body no?

Also those are just her lips, she's 20 and hasn't had any work done. Unlike some people ...

You had plenty of amazing non-scaly options too. This one's too "Best of the best" than "basic beauty" PS. WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY?

In the context of this picture, the scales are still a part of her head and obviously not makeup. It just seems strange to give a head full of snakes a free pass, but consider scaly skin too extreme.

Medusa is a monster and supposed to be really ugly and terrifying. She's almost always described as having snake-like skin. I purposely chose this picture with the scary eyes and scaly skin because I think it's a much more loyal 'basic beauty' representation of Medusa as a character then some glamorous picture where snakes are the only identifying characteristic.
But it's your game, judge as you will. Just wanted you to know my thought process.

I understand the thought process behind it. Noel loves it, as do I, just not for this shoot.
I'm just saying that I feel there are better pictures for this particular shoot with Medusa. Even with scales and snake eyes.
Just remember we do judge fairly with a marking rubric. Though your picture, for me, is low on the theme connection, it's high in the other elements.

Alright that's fair. Just as long as i don't get docked for fake lips or fake scales. My girls are all natural.

Daphne - I was trying to figure out a way to describe my perception of what is happening here in this photo and I've just realised what it is. Excuse my being frank but you look like a swan that's about to topple over and your using your arms to help you regain balance. That being said because you are wearing a very exquisite fashionable dress this photo does resemble your modelling potential even if it was on accident. Mila - Charades I love this game! One word? Occupation? Umm I've got it a DJ! You look over dramatised and very posed here. I don't see a smile but more-so I see you pulling a face/pose for a friend who you have an inside joke with. Kind of like this Bring your model next time! Medusa - Well hello poisonous glory you look like a force to be reckoned with. You have a wonderful powerful and overruling look in this photo, I love the hint of sacrifice from what could possibly be blood running down your arms. Your lips look gorgeous and full and your eyes are a very unique asset of yours. You have intrigued me Medusa.

Wiccans believe fire represents transformation. Once an object comes in contact with fire, it’s transformed forever and can’t be undone. You can’t “uncook” food and you can’t turn charcoal back into wood. Medusa is best known for her ability to turn any living creature into stone just by making eye contact with them. Like fire, this transformation is deadly and permanent. Fire is also described as being unstable and reckless. Fire can be incredibly helpful to us, but if left unchecked, fires can quickly spiral out of control and destroy everything in their path. Anyone who has ever witnessed a house fire knows this all too well. Medusa similarly has no control over her curse, as anyone she looks at is immediately turned to stone. Not even her snakes are not immune to the curse. And just like with fire, accidents can happen.
